The Students

staccato

We are all ages, all different shapes. We are inclusive and respect all who come in through the door.  We have different politics, we eat different foods, we work in widely differing spheres. Some of us have a struggle making ends meet, others have plenty. Some of us are single, some of us are married, some divorced. Some of us are adopted, some estranged from their parents, some of us desperately want children, others have a rich family life. We have addictions, some of us have been abused and we have all laughed, cried, loved, raged, been grumpy, mean, generous - IN OTHER WORDS WE ARE HUMAN BEINGS......

On the floors where we dance, our differences dissolve and we are just our moving and sweating bodies. We can then find connections to self and others purely through movement.
